Very friendly staff!! They were very caring and compassionate with the care of my geriatric kitty. Update: Still a FANTASTIC group of people. They got us through losing 2 of our babies. I just can't say enough about them!! The kindness, caring and love for all the animals they show ever time we r in there is a blessing. Thank you for your time and patience.💕

Odd vet office. The exam room was very cluttered and I can't imagine they are able to sanitize it. My cat was able to hide under a table. It was designed like they had never handled animals. Overall relatively uncompassionate along with some very strange dietary advice. They technically did what I needed, but the exam was not thorough. I question the validity of other reviews as it was a genuinely bad experience and I wouldn't advise anyone use this business. Many better vets in the area.

I boarded my dog at this vet’s office for one week in the summer of 2023, and when I picked him up, he was not acting like himself and had a slight limp. At first, I assumed maybe he had played too hard with other dogs, but two days later I watched him drag his back left leg outside. My 5-year-old German Shepherd suddenly could not walk. I got him in for a same-day appointment, and when we arrived, he froze in the parking lot and began convulsing — something I had never seen him do before. I had to carry him inside. He was terrified the entire visit. It took 5 days of steroids, gabapentin, and strict rest before he was finally able to walk again. What made this even more concerning was that he had recently completed 30 days of doxycycline for heartworms and was in the required rest period before injections. I had been clearly instructed by the vet that he needed zero stress and crate rest because of the risk of embolism. After this injury, and seeing how much physical stress he was already under, I made the decision not to proceed with the injections because I truly believed it could put his life at risk. Instead, I chose to continue monthly heartworm prevention. Not long after, PetMeds contacted me and said my prescription for Heartgard had been denied. When I called the office, I was told that because I chose not to move forward with the injections, the vet would not approve the refill. In my opinion, that was unacceptable. Regardless of my decision about injections, my dog still needed heartworm prevention. I felt pressured into a treatment plan I no longer believed was safe for him. I never returned to this office. Nearly three years later, my dog still has no signs or symptoms of heartworm disease, and he had an unremarkable pulmonary and cardiac exam today. He does still have lasting weakness and paw drop in that leg. I cannot prove what happened while he was boarded, but I know my dog. I have had Loki since he was 8 weeks old. Before this, he never had an issue with grooming or nail trims. Since that stay, he reacts with extreme fear and aggression during anything similar. Something changed, and it changed drastically. Based on my experience, I would not trust this office with my animal again.
