If you've got a pet with the itchies, this is your place. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I've never waited more than a few minutes, and an often directed right back to a comfortable room for me and my pet (literally, there are actual comfortable chairs). The doctor does prefer to write paper prescriptions, but they often have exactly what you need in office. The cost of the initial visit covers the follow up, you can text them with questions any time and they follow up quickly (within a reasonable timeframe). It feels a little like concierge vet, which is great when you are dealing with something so specific.

Our dog was itching and licking herself so badly that she was causing herself to bleed. She was shaking her head constantly too. We had an allergy test done on her prior and to coming here and still could not find the right treatment. After one visit our boxer was 98% better. At the follow up appointment (which was included in the first visit payment) we discussed what to do to keep her comfortable and they did not try to upsell us on more appointments. They put our girl on a plan for continued allergy control and all we have to do is text when we need medication refills. I’m impressed.

Very professional and sweet! The staff is very well educated on all things regarding allergies and are awesome explaining what they are doing and what needs to be done at home. The pricing is fantastic too!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I was referred to Dr. Hnilica’s clinic for my German Shepherd, Dixie, who’s been suffering from terrible allergies that medication hasn’t been able to control. I was really hopeful to finally get her the specialized care she needs after we got a referral from our vet. Unfortunately, I was told the clinic no longer accepts German Shepherds due to a past incident and the doctor’s trauma related to the breed. I want to be very clear — I completely understand how painful experiences can leave lasting emotional scars. However, it was still heartbreaking and discouraging to be turned away simply because of my dog’s breed, especially when Dixie is kind, well-behaved, and in genuine need of medical help. I respect the doctor’s boundaries, but I also believe that compassion and professionalism should extend equally to all breeds and their owners. It’s difficult to see an animal suffer while knowing the door to care is closed before she’s even evaluated. I truly hope that as time goes on, this becomes something that can change — that fear and past pain can someday give way to healing, understanding, and fairness. I don’t share this review out of anger, but out of concern for future pet owners who might find themselves in the same heartbreaking position. The staff was kind and respectful, and I genuinely appreciate that. I just hope that someday, no one else has to face the same kind of disappointment and sadness when trying to help a pet they love.
